We at TARAA envision a society in which women and men are compassionate and are able to
make choices about their own development and decisions
about their society. TARAA’s mission is to provide quality services to clients for enhancing capacities for social and human development. TARAA offers consultancies and skills development programmes in documentation, advocacy, programme implementation, qualitative research and ethnographic studies, gender and social audits of different social and infrastructures programmes/projects. |

The logo of TARAA is a Blue Lotus. The lotus grows from the mud up through clean water. Arising from the deep produces a beautiful flower. The blossom represents empowerment and development, the stem stands for the practice of enabling facilitation that raises the capabilities of mind and body above the (mud of) inequalities, and gives rise to strength of mind and body. An open blossom signifies full empowerment and freedom: a closed blossom signifies the potential for empowerment and freedom. The Lotus or lily is an important symbol in many cultures |
